The Global Opportunities Fair (GO Fair) is for students who are interested in opportunities abroad, not only through studying abroad, but also working abroad.  Many international companies will be participating and students will have the chance to talk with them about international opportunities they offer their employees. Lunch will be from 12:00 - 2:00pm in the South Ballroom PMU, with short speeches by Leah Jamieson and a sponsor of the GO Fair. Please note that you must be registered to attend most of the colloquium events listed with the exception of the GO Fair. You can download schedules below:

The second annual Global Opportunities fair will be taking place this year as a part of the 10th annual Colloquium on International Engineering Education. For more information you can access the Colloquium Website. The colloquium will occur on November 1st through 4th, 2007. This fair gives corporations and organizations a forum for sharing information with top students about different options available for global study and work experiences.  Student interviews may also be coordinated with our facilities coordinator.

The colloquium has three seminars that are open to all GEARE members. These seminars do not require registration and are a great opportunity to learn information related to your global experiences!

Exhibitors:
All exhibitors need to register for the conference by the pre-registration deadline of October 1, 2007 using the Colloquium registration form.  There is no one day registration fee.  You must pay the registration fee no matter how many days you participate in the Colloquium.  Once the exhibitors have registered, GEARE students will follow up to see what their needs will be, e.g., what type of tables, how many tables, electricity, sign stands, etc. A GEARE student will be available to man your booth whenever you wish to participate in the Colloquium.

Students:
The GO
Fair is open to all Purdue students, however the lunch is only open to invited students and Colloquium participants. Students may register for the the rest of the Colloquium activities for a $100 fee which covers meals and all activity participation.
